Instructions for Authors

The journal follows the APA 7th formatting and citation style.

Authors are required to prepare manuscripts using the official Article Template, available here.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that all requirements outlined below are met.

By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original, falls within the journal’s aims and scope, and complies with the journal’s Publication Policy.
  • The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • The manuscript follows the structure and formatting provided in the official Article Template.
  • The manuscript has been checked for correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • The manuscript complies with ethical standards and avoids research misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and inappropriate claims of authorship.
  • The author(s) agree with the journal’s Open Access and Licensing Policy.

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process in accordance with the journal’s Peer Review Policy.

1. General Guidelines

  • Language: Manuscripts must be submitted in English.
  • Length: 3,000–6,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt.
  • File Format: Submit as a Microsoft Word .doc file (not PDF).
  • Style Guide: Use APA 7th edition citation and referencing style. APA Style Guide
  • Originality: Submissions must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

2. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Max 250 words, 12pt Times New Roman.
  • Keywords: Five keywords, written in lowercase, separated by commas, with no final period.

3. Title Page

  • Title: Title Case (capitalize all words except articles, prepositions, and conjunctions of three or fewer letters).
  • Running header (if applicable): Maximum 50 characters, including spaces.
  • Author information: Full names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs.
  • Additional information (where applicable): Funding information, acknowledgements, conflict of interest, details of prior presentation (e.g. conferences), corresponding author's information

4. Main Text

  • Headings: Capitalize all words with no capitals on articles, prepositions, and conjunctions of four or less characters. Numerate the different levels of headings (e.g., 1.; 1.1.; 1.1.1.)
  • Figures and Tables: Should be in editable format, numbered, with titles above the table. If the figure has a note - it comes after the table and should include the source (if any). In case there is no note, the source is part of the title caption (Author, Year).
  • Footnotes:Minimize footnotes, using them for additional information or clarification, not citations.
  • Alphabet: Use only the Latin alphabet and avoid letters from other writing systems (e.g., Cyrillic, Arabic, Greek, Turkish) in the manuscript text.

5. Citations and References

  • In-text Citations:
    • (Author, Year), (Author & Author, Year), or (Author et al., Year)
    • For direct quotes: (Author, Year, p. 12) or (pp. 12–14)
    • Use & only in parentheses; otherwise write and
  • Reference List:
    • Alphabetical by author, then chronological.
    • The list of References shall only include works that are cited in the text and vice versa.
